2012 Aqua Patio gas tank venting issue

I have a 2012 Aqua Patio 240SDL with a 50 gallon fuel tank.  The boat is difficult to refuel and takes fuel slowly and seems to not ventilate properly. After returning to the dock, I usually open the fuel tank cap slowly to allow the fuel tank to vent.

Any thoughts about how to correct the problem and allow the boat to fuel faster and correctly?
