I have an interest in possibly purchasing a 2002 PartiKraft with an electric motor rated at 4 hp. I'm not familiar with electric motor propulsion and am concerned that it would not be strong enough to control or make progress against a strong wind. I also have no idea what top speed it could generate. Any experience or knowledge anyone could pass on would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ron

Hey Ron! I don't have all of the specifics for electric motors, but Torquedo is a brand that PartiKraft has partnered with in the past. It would be best to visit the Torqeedo website (torqeedo.com) to get more information.

In my limited experience, I think I would be concerned about the maneuverability as well, although I know that electric propulsion has made some great strides...
