Is this repairable?
Can I buy pre-manufactured metal casting ( Stainless -Aluminum) to insert and attached to whats left of this C-Channel to hopefully mount a motor mount reliably? Please refer to enclosed picture.. Remember this C-Channel is welded at the pontoons.

I can't see why a local body shop couldn't cut that out and weld a new one0
