I have issues with algae, what is best solution to deter the growth other than a lift or pull boat.
I see a "paint" mentioned, what kind and where do you get?

A partial answer is marine bottom paint for aluminum hulls. Also, I think your location matters, i.e. are zebra muscles a problem. Also freshwater or salt? I assume fresh as you said algae is the issue. Do you have any large marinas you can stop and get a quote from, then DYI. They can tell you what's right for the area.
