Looking for information on advantages of larger motor on 2286 Godfrey

I am new to pontooning.  We purchased a 2017 Sweetwater 2286 with a 20 hp due to the state park that we normally boat in.  My question is, if we go to a bigger motor, how much additional speed should be attainable?  We currently max out between 9 - 11.  Can anyone give me some instances that they have experience please.

I have a 2286 Tri Tune with a 115 Yahama and wide open throttle is 33 mph with 2 aboard with cooler my sweet spot is 22 mph that 4 stroke uses very little fuel at that speed

Same here but I have a 115HP Merc. Went with a 4 blade SS prop for better control of boat in turns and for parking in slip.

Thanks for the responses.  We are looking at a 60hp, but want to weigh out the cost vs. just arriving slower with our current 20hp.

I have a 40 Yamaha. Top is about 17 mph but 15 loaded with guests.
