Bluetooth connection

i am having a problem connecting to bluetooth.  I need the directions.

     place stereo in bluetooth mode,  open settings, choose wifi and scan for devices. It should pair.

    It depends on the model head unit. I used you tube for mine. it was easier than bothering with the manual.
