We contacted the dealers as we had some in our center tube.  They sent us to a welding shop that does their warrentty work.  Got it done, used an approved shop, all is well.  We had lower drains put in all three tubes at our own expense and it was very reasonable. We know where they are and can drain them at the end of every season before the freezing cold sets in.

I only have two toons... but can imagine how a tri-toon would be difficult.

Lower drains are nice but mine (09 Sweetwater) has a keel on each log (angle aluminum running whole length of log) which complicates where to put a bung. I use an ~$8 siphon pump from walmart. Go in through the top access bung of each log compartment. Takes about 8 minutes to siphon 5 gallons out. I'm sort of obsessive so once the cheap siphon cannot pickup anymore, I use a west marine crankcase pump (used for I/O's to remove old oil). It works the same way but has a smaller stiff tube which allows me to get most if not all of the water out.

where is toon leaking, funny how are 50k poontoon boats  dont gave a couple of 10 dollar drain plugs  and not foam filled .   you  can presurize toon lightly through vent  and locate leak and repaire

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I just bought a used 2008 Sanpan 2200re that has a little water in the front of the toons. I understand that you can access them from the top but would like more clarification on what siphon or pump to use?   So I need to remove the caps all the way or just put the tube into the vent?

If you have water you have a leak call a dealer and get it pressure checked

I purchased a used Sweetwater 2186DF HIN GDY1984WJ607 and love the boat very much.  When we took the boat out of the water this past weekend, we noticed a sloshing sound in the left pontoon and had noticed it is riding lower in the water.  In reading the forum I was relieved to see Godfrey has various chambers and plugs to access in each pontoon.  My boat is parked at our lake house (on land) and upon my next visit I plan to inspect the pontoons.  I wanted to confirm, does this model/year have the multi chambers and plugs to access and remove the water?

You make a great product and thank you for supporting the owners.  I pulled alongside a brand new competitor boat this past weekend on Toledo Bend and that owner could not believe the features offered by my 11 year old boat that were as extensive as his new boat.   I don't care for the carpet and want to change that out off season and looking for tips on how to do that and what to use?  Was thinking about a continuous vinyl?
