So first year with 2086 Sweetwater Pontoon. Should you clean and wax everything before storing? Should you waterproof the Bimini and Playpen covers? I will be storing this outside, far away from trees as possible. Storage fees are expensive. Can shrink wrapping cause damage as I assume they use some kind of heat? The snow load will be too much for the playpen cover? What can I do that is fairly cheap? Looking on line the wood framing is costly and looks like it could do some damage to the boat. I heard of one man having it "shrink wrapped" then reusing it every year... not sure how that works. Please, all suggestions are welcomed!
