Best lift set up for AP220 TT with 250 Vmax

On Saturday I am picking up my new AP 220 with three logs, 27" logs and a Yamaha 250 VMAX.
I am looking at storing it on a covered lift and am wondering about the recommended set up on the lift.
Should I lift with the three logs supported or should I lift by the deck cross members with two boards between the logs?
Any suggestions?
