I have a 22 foot 220DS with a 115 HP Yamaha. The boat has power steering and my guy that does maintenance on the boat said it looks like my motor is too short. He said I have a 20 inch motor and I should have a 22 inch motor. The prop is level with the bottom of the toons. There is virtually no trim available. My dealer says the motor needs to be lowered and the right motor is on the boat but there is only 1 inch of space left to lower the motor and that will not be enough. Most other toons I have seen have the prop 4-6 inches below the toons.
