We bought our boat to our dock from the marina on May 18, 2015 - and it's now June 21....and weather has been awful so haven't had a chance to start it.  How long can I let this go without starting the engine.  I don't want to have a dead battery.  I'm thinking of starting it tomorrow and letting it run 15 minutes....will that hurt the battery?

That would be fine batteries hold their charge for long periods of time

you should be OK. I bought a battery tender trickle charger and extra pigtails. Have a pigtail on both boat batteries and an old car. I can slow charge without much hassle now.
